On reverence with regard to expertise

It is common belief one should restrain oneself and just avoid speaking on topics on which one is not an expert.

As a consequence, people generally hold on just to not being knowledgeable and as such frankly don't even have an idea of their own personal viewpoints with regard to, for instance, the fundamental questions - which should be considered pitiable indeed.

For science should be a game of trial and error, and for that people should dare to take erroneaous viewpoints - like trying an unworn coat. Everyone should feel challenged to try answering all questions allowing oneself the risk-and-joy of being prooven wrong!
